The Intel® Boot Agent prepares the Boot ROM of most Intel® Network Adapters for PXE 2.1 boot and configures Wake On LAN options. (Not for built-in network connections.). It is compliant to the PXE 2.1 standard. RPL is not supported by this version of PROBOOT.exe.
WARNING: This utility must not be used to program built-in network connections, also known as LAN-on-motherboard. This utility only supports Intel® network adapters. Using this utility on built-in network connections may make your network connection unusable. With network interfaces built into the main board, Boot Agent is embedded into the computer BIOS and must be configured through the computer BIOS. In these instances, the IBAUTIL utility will not work, and Boot Agent upgrades must be obtained from your system vendor as part of a BIOS upgrade.
