Please read the following before creating a Firmware Update CD:
· Your PC must have a CD-R writer installed.
· The CD you create must be made using the ISO-9660 format.
· Using Windows XP's CD writing program is the easiest way to create the Firmware Update CD since ISO-9660 is the default format, so no special settings are necessary. However, other software (such as Nero) can be used, as long as you use the ISO-9660 format.
· If "U11" (DMR-E30/ DMR-HS2) or "UNSUPPORT" appears on the DVD recorder's display during the update process, this indicates that the firmware already installed in your unit is either the same version or a newer version than the one you are trying to install.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest drivers, software and games.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
